Supporting King’s College with an award-winning illustrated campaign for diabetes care.

ILLUSTRATION I INFOGRAPHIC DESIGN I ANIMATION

Christina Lange Ferreira at King’s College asked us to help make their diabetes guidance clear, approachable and easy to understand. We created engaging visuals that simplified complex health information. The project won the Rowan Hillson Diabetes Award 2025 and the Insulin Safety Week 2025 Excellence Award at the QIC Diabetes Awards

The Problem:

Complex Medical Information:

Patients often find hospital guidance overwhelming, particularly when managing diabetes alongside other health concerns.

Lack of Engaging Educational Material:

Existing resources were formal and text-heavy, making it difficult for patients to absorb key information.

Limited Reach Across Channels:

There wasn’t a cohesive visual system for sharing the information online or on social platforms, reducing engagement and awareness.

The Solution:

Illustrated Infographics:

We created a series of friendly, approachable infographics that simplify important diabetes care guidance for hospital patients. The illustrations are fun, easy to understand, and designed to communicate clearly at a glance.

Animated Content for Digital Channels:

To increase engagement, we developed animations of the infographics for social media and the King’s College website, helping patients absorb the information in a dynamic and accessible way.

Consistent Visual Language:

By using a consistent colour palette, typography, and illustration style, the campaign feels unified across every platform, helping King’s College communicate diabetes care information effectively.

Working with Simon was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. He took time to understand the topic and what we were hoping to achieve. His attention to detail and responsiveness to our requests for refinement were incredible. We are so happy with the content created and would definitely work with him again!
